Tornado Warning issued May 8 at 6:41PM CDT until May 8 at 7:15PM CDT by NWS Twin Cities/Chanhassen MN
Counties: Pierce, WI
The National Weather Service in the Twin Cities has issued a

* Tornado Warning for... Southeastern Pierce County in west central Wisconsin...

* Until 715 PM CDT.

* At 641 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located 7 miles west of Plum City, or 12 miles northeast of Red Wing, moving south at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Tornado and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is likely.

* This tornadic thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of southeastern Pierce County.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

TAKE COVER NOW! Move to a basement or an interior room on the lowest floor of a sturdy building. Avoid windows. If you are outdoors, in a mobile home, or in a vehicle, move to the closest substantial shelter and protect yourself from flying debris.
