    * At 738 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located near Sharon, or 9 miles northeast of Canton, moving east at 20 mph.

    HAZARD...Tornado and ping pong ball size hail.

    IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree damage is likely.

    ...BEACH HAZARDS STATEMENT REMAINS IN EFFECT THROUGH THIS 
EVENING... 
 
* WHAT...Strong north-to-south longshore current. There is also a 
Moderate Risk of rip currents expected. 
 
* WHERE...In North Carolina, Coastal Pender and Coastal New 
Hanover Counties. In South Carolina, Coastal Horry and Coastal 
Georgetown Counties. 
 
* WHEN...Through this evening. 
 
* IMPACTS...Longshore currents can sweep swimmers and surfers 
into rip currents, piers, jetties, and other hazardous areas. 
It may sweep swimmers off their feet, making it difficult to 
return to shore.
    Instructions: Caution should be used when in or near the water. Check with lifeguards before entering the ocean for possible hazards you may be swept into.

    The National Weather Service in Raleigh has issued a

    * Severe Thunderstorm Warning for... Northeastern Warren County in central North Carolina... Northwestern Halifax County in central North Carolina...

    * Until 730 PM EDT.

    * At 627 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 7 miles north of Norlina, or 10 miles north of Warrenton, moving east at 25 mph.

    HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

    SOURCE...Radar indicated.

    IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

    * Locations impacted include... Roanoke Rapids, Littleton, Macon, Airlie, Lake Gaston, Southpointe And Morningstar Marinas, Roanoke Rapids Lake and Medoc Mountain State Park.

    ...A TORNADO WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 515 PM EDT FOR SOUTHERN JOHNSON...NORTHWESTERN FLOYD AND EAST CENTRAL MAGOFFIN COUNTIES...

    At 449 PM EDT, a confirmed tornado was located over Hendricks, or near Salyersville, moving east at 25 mph.

    HAZARD...Damaging tornado and quarter size hail.

    SOURCE...Radar confirmed tornado.

    IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree damage is likely.

    This tornado will be near... Sublett around 455 PM EDT. Royalton around 500 PM EDT. Marshallville around 505 PM EDT.

    * Tornado Warning for... Southeastern Pierce County in west central Wisconsin...

    * Until 715 PM CDT.

    * At 641 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located 7 miles west of Plum City, or 12 miles northeast of Red Wing, moving south at 15 mph.

    HAZARD...Tornado and quarter size hail.

    SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

    IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is likely.
